With over 70% of India’s population living in villages and 65%  to 70% working as farmers and coolies (day laborers), Sambasiva Rao Bekkam had a life-long passion to provide an education for the less fortunate children of these villages. In 2011, Mr. Bekkam founded a non-profit organization, Development of Village Education (DOVE) India, in an effort to enhance and enrich the lives of these impoverished children.
